Post a live video

I was hoping for something from their upcoming new EP, the rest which is out one week from Friday (October 13th) but it comes as no surprise that they performed “Cool About It” which is the latest single from the record. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest checking out the video for it here which was illustrated by Lauren Tsai who also did the artwork for the poster for the last show of this tour which is on Halloween at the Hollywood Bowl.

Hi Jonathon, the youtube uploader has not made these videos available in my country. I can’t watch them unfortunately.

Thanks for letting me know. See if this works. If so, you’ll need to scroll down for the other two songs.

Thanks, I was unaware of that. I don’t think they’ve done one of those before.

From my current playlist. I really love this Pearl Jam song live - “Even Flow” - (Live in Seattle). I believe this was just before the release of Ten in August 1991.

Newly uploaded to Pitchfork’s YouTube channel earlier today. I feel fortunate to have finally seen Alvvays in concert last month when they performed during Hopscotch in Raleigh, NC.

The Alvvays are touring Australia in December, but not in the state where I live. I would love to see them live. I’m not in a situation where I can travel interstate to see them.

I can relate. Late last year they came to Asheville, NC which is clear across the state from me so as much as I hated to, I had to pass. I would not have been able to see them during Hopscotch if not for friends and family pitching in to make it a reality for me. For that, I’m eternally grateful. Hopefully, at some point it will work out for you to be able to see them.

Video from last night’s boogenius show at the Hollywood Bowl, the last show of this tour. As suspected, they pulled out all the stops for this one, not the least of which were their costumes as the Holy Trinity: the Father (Lucy), Son (Julien), and the Holy Ghost (Phoebe) and the band dressed as angels. Dave Grohl on drums for “Satanist,” and in what I believe was a first, each of them performing songs from their solo albums with the other members of boogenius taking the lead. Link to setlist.

“Good News”
(Julien Baker song) (Lucy on lead vocals)

“Motion Sickness”
(Phoebe Bridgers song) (Julien on lead vocals)

“Night Shift”
(Lucy Dacus song) (Phoebe on lead vocals)

One of my favorite songs from Erika Wennerstrom’s solo album from a few years back, Sweet Unknown.

boygenius were recently among the artists named Artists of the Year by the BBC. In lieu of that, the BBC recently shared this live, acoustic performance they did for them while they were in tour in Europe over the summer. Songs include: “Not Strong Enough,” “Cool About It,” “Emily, I’m Sorry,” “True Blue,” “$20,” “Anti-Curse,” and “We’re In Love.”

They were also in a skit which I’m guessing you can also find on NBC’s website.
