I loved the banjo players Nat King Cole & Stubby Kay from the movie Cat Ballou and that awesome duel from Deliverance. Sweet Home Chicago had me singing along there. :notes:

I love John Denver, his songs make me feel happy. If I ever had a chance to travel to America, top of my list would be a trek through the Rocky Mountains, then I would head to the southern states and hog into a crawfish boil.

From Phil Cook’s three day residency at Duke Gardens in Durham, NC back in 2015 for his then yet to be released album, Southland Mission. Each day had special guests. I went to days one and three but in retrospect wish I had attended all of them. This is from day three when Amelia Meath (Sylvan Esso, Mountain Man) sat in on this roof raising version of Willis Alan Ramsey’s “Northeast Texas Women.” Filmed by local videographer Dan Schram.

I started listening Nordic electro-pop after Robyn’s Cobrastyle got my attention. Her self titled & also Royksopp - Junior, in which Robyn features on a track are two of my favs records. This one is from Robyn’s self titled - With Every Heartbeat live.

Pretty faithful to the original. Which is to say, stunningly beautiful…
