Well, I thought we were gonna get a break from this for awhile but noooooo. Baldwin is throwing all his toys out of the crib and got his mega expensive legal team to complain about the same old shit Hannah Guiterrez got 18 months in state prison for. They have nothing new except to argue that the powers that be don’t like successful actors (give me strength) and a repetition of the stuff that got thrown out last time. Meanwhile, on the other side, the prosecution has hired another attorney to work with the existing legal team. He’s apparently a tough cookie and has worked in more challenging cases than this one. ETA- apparently Baldwin’s legalistas have arranged a hearing before the actual trial, presumably to determine whether Baldwin should face trial at all. Rilly? Seriously? OK then, bring it on.
