This Coralie Fargeat film premiered in May 2024 at Cannes & released September last year I believe. My daughter saw it recently and said it was real good horror flick I should watch. It stars Demi Moore, Dennis Quad & Margaret Qualley. I hope to see it sometime soon. Has anyone here seen it? I watched the trailer a few shorts. From the shorts I watched, Hollywood’s obsession with youth & beauty & I would say also addiction & substance abuse. It ending is rather tragic, kind like The Fly or The Wasp Woman.
I’m gonna watch this soon. It’s pretty strange, from what I’ve read, but it sounds interesting.

So I watched this movie last night. I have to say it’s body gore horror and probably not for everyone. I’m not a good reviewer but I’ll do my best. It was strange and I found it compelling. All these references to body image, superficiality in the entertainment industry, ageism, self doubt & loathing, and I mentioned before addiction, substance abuse and the damage done which sadly can be permenant. I ended up crying a bit at the end. I don’t make enough time to watch a lot of movies, I’m glad at least I saw this one.
