Another new song from the Accidentals. Looks like maybe an album or EP next month.
New music from Robert Plant and Saving Grace.
More new music from Lydia Loveless from the Secret Sessions series sheâs been doing on Bandcamp.

âLittle Red Rangerâ
âWhen the Truth Comes Outâ
Two more from Big Thiefâs Double Infinity which is due September 5th.
âGrandmotherâ
âLos Angelesâ
New Tame Impala. Kevinâs gone full on techno/house whatever itâs called. Those beats have grown on me.
More new Margo Price. Hard Headed Woman is out on the 29th.
Came up on my notifications, new Robert Plant from his up coming album âSaving Graceâ
New album by Jade Bird, Who Wants to Talk About Love?
This came out yesterday. Time Out 3, full album.
I really got into this. Hereâs another song, the title track.
Two of three bonus tracks (all of which are covers) from the upcoming reissue of Frazey Fordâs Indian Ocean which turned 10 last year. Itâs due September 19th. More info here from Americana UK.
From Mavis Staplesâ new album Sad and Beautiful World which is out November 7th. Sheâs backed by lots of my favorite artists on this one. I canât wait to hear it. More on it from Stereogum here.
The latest from Wednesdayâs new record Bleeds which is due September 19th. Aside from a few songs I have to admit Iâm not especially taken with them but I keep listening. My favorite so far is âElderberry Wineâ from the new album.
Title track from the Beths new album Straight Line Was A Lie which is out on Friday.
I have not found Tik Tok to be good for much which is indicative of so much of social media but several mentions of this band have finally prompted me to check them out. Iâm presently dealing with one of my more debilitating bouts of depression and this is helping. Itâs from their new album that just came out.
This is great- really uplifting, thanks. I have âSave Your Soulâ by Kathleen Edwards (posted by someone else- oops I forget who at the moment) on my 2025 phone playlist which Iâm playing a lot at the moment- helping me deal with current world and personal events. Iâll add this one thank you

This is also uplifting (no, I havenât got religion but this is a hymn we sang in infant school and I remember all the words- a beautiful poem by Eleanor Farjeon- similar to âDaises are our silver, buttercups our goldâ and âAll Things Bright and Beautifulâ)-
âGlad that I live am I
That the sky is blue
Glad for the country lanes
And the fall of dew
All that we need to do be we low or high
Is to see that we grow
Nearer the skyâ
Anyway, it has been set to music by Rick Wakeman (who interestingly was born in the same maternity hospital as me and grew up near me). I mean, I wonder what Bowieâs âLife on Marsâ would be without his piano part?
Started listening to this today. Itâs good! I havenât listened to the Beths much before.
It would have been great to see Willie Nelson in concertâŚ.but sadly havenât been to the USA since 2000 (when I took my Mum to see her old GI boyfriend- both now passed on - within 2 weeks of each other in 2006). Highly unlikely to be going this year. Oh wellâŚ..
