I’ve been watching some Vic Chesnutt videos, thought I’d post a couple here. Didn’t really get into Vic until after he died. I listened to a podcast with Michael Stipe and Jem Cohen which made me delve a bit deeper. What a talent.
Anyway, these are from a session he did. I don’t know the date, but from the material I’d say it was late noughties.
The setting is great, the videography is stunning, the band is brilliant.
The performance is everything.
These are amongst my favourite live performances by anyone, ever.
