Half of Steely Dan passed away September 2017. I didn’t know about it til recently because though I always liked Steely Dan but not yet a full fledged Dan, I only recently got heavy into them when I was in hospital this September and most of this month. Now I’m a Dan AND a feak. I read an interview with Donald Fagen who said Walter is still with him, which I found incredibly moving. Walter passed in Hawaii where he lived for years. I guess it was a piece of paradise for him and his wife. RIP, Walter. You’re very much missed.
