This was recorded in December in Portland. I wish I could’ve been there. It’s a great listen.

Yeah, that was really cool. I liked how reverentially he talked about his R.E.M. band mates. It’s not something that always comes across (maybe due to his donkey-whipper persona?!) but you could hear his love and pride for R.E.M. throughout the interview.
Loved the bit at the end about Bill Rieflin too.
