Iâm amazed heâs still working on the mythical album, I thought he would have let that go by now⌠and he wants it to be as good as R.E.M., again something I imagined he was not even trying to shoot for. Not getting my hopes up anymore for that â26 release date though.

They wonât. Iâm sure Robert Plant still gets asked about the possibility of Led Zeppelin reuniting. Itâs always refreshing to see an interview where itâs not mentioned. That said, fans can be the worst. It makes me wonder if they paid attention to how R.E.M. conducted themselves throughout their career and how theyâve answered the question since.
Iâm not anti-reunion but if by some slim chance they decide to do something like that itâll be on their own terms. I respect their decision to part amicably. Others feel as though theyâve been betrayed or that theyâre owed something. Theyâre an embarrassment to fellow fans, or at least to me they are.
