My own take on the fabled r.e.m. boxset

in case anyone is interested… i compiled (for myself and a friend) a four disc boxset of r.e.m. rarities. it’s a miraculous hodgepodge of all eras of the band, various sources and sound quality, heavily inspired by and structured after guided by voices’ suitcase boxsets. maybe not a format for everyone, but for me it’s been a great way to consume the best non-album r.e.m. out there. dig it:

Impressive! I assume that “Experiment in Terror” on disc 2 is actually “1Experiment 4-28 no vocal (Demo)” from the Monster anniversary boxset?

yes, exactly correct! sorry for the ambiguity there. it’s a shorter edit of it i made.
