Mike's "Mr. Meat Science" Picks (+amp?)

I got to go to a BBP show a couple of weeks ago, and Mike threw me his pick at the end of the show. The pick says “Mr. Meat Science” on it. From what I can find via google, it seems like this has been his signature pick for at least 30 years and I also found a 1999 reference that indicates his amp had the same slogan. So, does anyone have info on what “Mr. Meat Science” means? I’m dying to find out.

Also– I got to meet him afterwards, he signed the pick and gave me a hug. He was very kind.

Can I take a guess and say meat science is the study of meat for the purpose of quality.
