new album incoming?
not a joseph arthur fan (bland songwriter, antivax dummy), but honestly he’s a step above luke haines in the vocal department. i’ll give the new album a listen for the buck input. this new song isn’t very good but at least it doesn’t sound like a demo, as their first album did.
someone on reddit said new west records dropped him for being an antivax dummy. might explain why there’s actually no album release info with this video.

The Arthur Buck album is one of the few Buck side projects that didn’t hit with me at all. Wasn’t a Joseph Arthur fan before he became an anti-vaxxer whackjob. Can’t imagine a new album with Buck will change that, but, if it happens, I’ll listen with open ears.
Would definitely prefer a new Filthy Friends album…
Oh goodness me! I really like Joseph Arthur (and so does my granddaughter who loves the Shrek soundtrack - my Limited Edition Double CD Pack from 2004 now lives on top of the CD player- which she comes in and puts on the CD player every time she’s here- she’s 3 years old! ). I have Our Shadows Will Remain- which I consider brilliant. I took myself off to see him at Shepherds Bush Empire some years ago where he played guitar and sang and painted on an easel on stage at the same time (apparently singing frees up his creative mind to paint?). And what about “In The Sun”? I wrote to him to see if he would come over here and perform in a church somewhere- I think he (or his team) was running a kind of suggestion page thing at the time (no reply). Great guy (musically speaking anyway…don’t know him personally, obviously)
