4 Croakers London 2001

4 Croakers

Does anyone else recall this show at Dingwalls in London?

It started off, if I remember correctly, billed as a Minus5 show, and slowly transformed into what I had hoped would be a very low key R.E.M. show.
It was the evening before Mr Bucks start of air rage trial. All the band were in London to lend their support.
What transpired was a show which starred, in no particular order, Robyn Hitchcock, Mike Mills, Scott McCaughey, Ken Stringfellow, Kimberly Rew, and sadly not Messrs Stipe or Buck.
I remember the show with little clarity after all these years, but do remember shots of Tequila being passed from audience to band.

Happy daze.
