This is now streaming for free on Tubi. R.E.M. and Athens are prominently featured and it includes appearances from Bertis, members of Pylon, Mitch Easter and members of the WUOG staff, amongst others. Though I enjoyed it, I was disappointed that there was no mention of WXYC at UNC in Chapel Hill who were the first station ever to stream their signal online. There’s also some footage of the station from the 80s that’s readily available online.
