Well just today in the Irish Star, there's an article about Michael where he say's that "he wears a ring on his wedding finger to signify his relationship with his boyfriend of 8 years".

Yeah the star seem to be mad about R.E.M. In the music section they're always up to date with all the latest news!  It's on pg 3 today. Just a small little article(not really worth buying the paper for). He just said the above and that "Marriage doesn't really mean much in my country." He also said that; " It seems any time there's a slow news day I seem to be 'outed' again!";)

*lol* i like his attitude. nice thing, btw, that being outed really means nothing nowadays, it's a fairly recent development in this country. remember the ballyhoo about derek mooney? did anyone actually care? (not to mention that it had the news value of bears shite in the woods)

i always thought the white suit and rainbow tie was a bit of a giveaway. *lol* i think he did own up, but at the same time said he was pissed off because really his sexual orientation was nobody's business. he kind of has a point i guess. on the other hand, the way the outing came about it was pretty clear that it wasn't news anyway, so he might as well just have said yeah, so what. before daniel comes out michael flatley will, i.e. cork and donegal will forever be stuck with one closet gay with an attitude problem each. is it just me or is this rapidly going off topic...

I hope we're getting to that point in America as well. Lance Bass (from NSYNC) recently came out, and next to a day of coverage in the gossip world, it wasn't really a big deal. We will always have our little hate groups like Fred Phelps, but beyond that looney fringe, the big fuss about who's gay seems to be "who cares". Thank goodness.

Anyway, Michael and his "Mister" seem to be doing extremely well. And more power to them. :D

indeed! :) fred phelbs and his merry gang amaze. me... what's the point? and why are they allowed to do that? if anyone tried to stage a political protest during a funeral in germany, the police would be called, and imho rightly so.

OK, OK. Michael Stipe has  broken up with his long term boyfriend and what's more he is bored with queerness and is  now a rampant pussy hound. He currently has a myspace account to find the one fan that loves him more than any other so he can marry her and give her his babies. I could give you the myspace details but then  I'd have to kill you so um, your choice.

Very sophisticared. Less is more. Love it. BTW, I think Stipey may insist that you let his dogs sleep on your wedding dress the night before, so I hope you're not allergic to pet hair.
