Is it possible (without proffessional software that costs a fortune) to take a show I've downloaded (eg rockpalast sp?) or a DVD I've bought like Perfect Square, and just copy the audio to mp3 or something, without damaging the original video. And is this allowed?
Cheers :)

Theres some great shareware software that does it, most limit the number of tracks you can rip thou unless its registered.
I have tourfilm and perfect square on my portable mp3 player :)
Ill dig up the names of the 3 or 4 i tried before finding the one i liked.

*Usually* that is true - and Audacity IMO is the best thing out there - but for some reason DVDAuthor does. not. work. for. me. at. all. Still messing with it & just discovered I may need to use the Toolame audio encoder for DVD stuff...
Not to derail the thread, but what do you use for DVD authorizing, Sibko?
