In the world I see you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of rockefeller center.
You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life.
You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the sears tower and when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway - fight club

Not as many DVD or CD purchases these days since the recession finally arrived at my doorstep in the form of work furloughs one day a month. Thankfully, I had some reward points that enabled me to grab this one for cheap.
A great early Polanski film, even if it is the ultimate "woman with issues" story.

I know that there were some crazy things roaming around before dinosaurs, but I've always been curious about what evidence scientists or archaeologists have to show for it. Edit: That sounds like an interesting documentary!

Takeshi Kitano Collection
Violent Cop
Boiling Point
A Scene At The Sea
Sonatine
Getting Any?
Kids Return
Just ordered. I was toying with buying this because I already own four of the films. However, the editions of Violent Cop, Boiling Point and Sonatine that were previously available are pretty poor; bad or even absent subtitles and bad transfers. These new editions are said to be a big improvement. The other one I have is a Korean import of Kids Return which is very good. Anyway, if I can sell my old ones, it should be worth the upgrade to have decent versions of some of my favourite films and a couple of new Kitano films to see.
