Bottle Rocket. :)

I hadn't seen it before (it was never released in Australia - I had to order the DVD from the US) and it was wonderful.

I saw The Thin Red Line on TV a couple days ago and it was fair.  It could have been better if didn't have soldiers constantly thinking about the war philosophically.   Right now, I am part of the way through The Last Waltz and so far it is pretty entertaining.

Last wednesday I was chased indoors by a spell of bad weather, I flicked on Bulgarian national tv and happened to see the (subtitled) beginning of Dusting Cliff 7 - a real low-budget affair starring a fav character actor of mine: Lance Henriksen.

But that's it, ythe World Cup has begun so even if I had the time to watch television it would've been football anyways.

I actually liked,"Repo Man",has cult-like status in the u.s.My last film was "Behind Enemy Lines",which was average at best, but it had Gene Hackman in it,like a lot of his films. Before that was,"The Filth & The Fury",a documentary on the Sex Pistols, thought it was very interesting.

Went to see "Spider-Man" today, and also enjoyed the quality entertainment provided by "Carry On Up The Khyber" on TV yesterday.

I whined my way through Merl Gibson's noir performance in "Payback" this evening. Dunno really why...I guess we were on a downward slope after 1 week or partying.

Requiem for a Dream DVD, over and over again. The last 5 minutes or so is some pretty intense stuff.

'The Warrior' which is stunning to look at but i thought the plot a bit uninvolving - old-fashioned morality-fairytale stuff.

Just watched "Dead Poet's Society" followed by "Chinatown".. I've seen the latter about five times now and I think I'm actually beginning to understand the plot...

(Inner monologue: "Oh.. I get it.. so John Huston killed him.. because of the water? No.. because of the girl? Ohh I see.... Oooh! Ouch, that must've hurt..")
