I know what you mean Helen, I would be in pain if I didn't wear bras.

Ten years ago, I could go without a bra -- even with big boobs. But, twelve years later, that doesn't seem to be the case. Damn that gravity.
I just edited your post to suit me...:p
But damn! can't sexy/comfy be combined sometimes? Also..why do white bras inevitably go dull grey even when you put in all that time and effort hand-washing?

Oh and i hate those balcony bras...cheat's cleavage!:D

I think I'll never love the upper decker flopper stoppers, but you're right - seems you can't live without these "things" (and it's again the same with men) :p :D

Who do you think invented the damn things?
Evil fuckin' things, bras. I avoid them whenever
possible, which is quite a bit when you work at
night and have no life.

Sports bras are comfy, but they give you
uni-boob. Underwire/push-up bras make you
look good, if you can stop fiddling w/them
long enough to strike a pose. If someone
would ever make a bra that's quasi-decent
in both categories, I think I'd faint...and go
shopping afterwards.

Um.... Why on earth do As need a bra? Years ago, a friend of mine was housesitting for a friend. Several of us (all women) went to do our laundry. We threw everything in one pile and sorted them out later. Out of the four of us, three had big boobs. The other was an A, I think. I found one of her bras in the pile, held it up and said, "Now, tell me, what is the purpose of even wearing this? Does it actually do anything?"

Sports bras are comfy, but I also hate the uniboob look.

And I haven't seen my feet since I was about 15 years old. I went from being flat as a board to definately needing a bra in three months. It was not pleasant.

The thing is, I'm only 5' tall and I have DDs... I am one big walking boob. lol

Hear hear!

I have a hell of a time finding something nice in a DD that isn't black or white or taupe and looks matronly.  Found some fabulous ones at Lane Bryant recently.  Very comfortable, seamless, thin straps, underwire.  One of 'em was red with rhinestones... YOINK!
Quite frankly, I wish "the girls" would lose a little weight... :p

Oh, now see, I like black bras. Black bras are my favorite. But I have always wanted a red bra--but no rhinestones.

Purpel is good, too. I had one, but it fell apart. As did my celery green one, my fuschia one, my BRIGHT green one.... For a long time, I didn't own a white bra--they were too damn boring! I would like an orange bra, though.
