Damn you people. I never saw any live show of R.E.M.
I live in Israel and the one time they were here: August 9th 1995, Tev Aviv-Opening band - RADIOHEAD! (Thank you Raw'). I was only ten years old then and I had no clue who the hell are R.E.M. and even if I did I wouldn't go in this age...
And I don't really fly across the world to see R.E.M. (I don't have the money or how to do it alone- 16 years old today) and I don't live in Europe where you can take cars or trains from the countries and see all the shows and also I don't live in the U.S.A where they have so many concerts and if I would have lived there I think I would take the long way bus to Toronto too.
But no, I can't so I'm still a sorry little boy that didn't even see them once. And some ofyou people cry about seeing them "only" 4 times. You have to see how lucky you are!!!

I have been very lucky to see R.E.M 5 times in concert! I wished it could be more! I was hoping for a tour or at least a mini tour this time because I really wanted to see them again so badly! I saw 3 shows on the Monster tour and 2 shows on the UP tour where I got to meet the guys on both occassions! I also got to see their soundcheck which was so great!!:D

I almost had a fourth one under my belt. Last year they played an acoustic set in front of the courthouse in Athens, GA. I was only a few blocks away but I could not go because I was working.:mad:
