you'll see devils tearing your life away.
But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels.
Freeing you from the earth.

I've seen them 3 times:
twice at Stirling Castle in 1999 - incredible
once at NMurrayfield stadium, Edinburgh - good but I was so far away from the stage it could have been anyone up there playing rem records.
It would have been 4. For the Monster tour I queued overnight from 9pm to 9am for tickets for the SECC - a smallish venue (about 10,000) which would have been fantastic. One of those venues wherever you are you get a good view. However, this gig was one of the ones (undersandably) cancelled after Bill's anuerysm.
Oh well - c'est la vie. :(

I've seen R.E.M. four times. Once during the Green Tour, once during the Monster Tour, and twice during the Up Tour.
I saw Peter Buck and Mike Mills play with Drivin' N' Cryin' in 1992 and I saw and sort of met Michael Stipe at a Smashing Pumpkins show in 1993.
