Good result for Palace on Tuesday night, dreadful game but good result. A 1-0 win goal coming in the 90+3 minute! Good tactic, leave it so late to take the lead there isn't time for the opposition to equalise!

Went out for a belated birthday lunch today. Not to the place that gave me food poisoning last year! Had scampi, chips & salad, then my favourite dessert, SPOTTED DICK WITH CUSTARD!

Really hot and sunny today, naked legs weather, and they say it'll get hotter before the week's out!
Have had to dig my shades out, first time this year, last wore them on the trip back from Llandudno last year.
Mum took MM a scampi home, MM seemed to know as she was sitting in the hall waiting for us, she enjoyed it, licked her plate clean.

Getting bored here, basically just sitting around waiting to go into labor. Only a couple of days past my due date, of course everyone is now bringing out their stories about their baby that was three weeks late.

Good luck! And I have no past due date baby stories to share :-)
I'm on the downhill slide of the semester, just passed midterms and have been having lots of "what can I do to help my grade?" inquiries. My basic answer is "do your homeworks and spend more time studying." The students seem to want to do anything but that. Also, I'm waiting to see if I get a job offer or not from the interview I just went on. They've started calling my references so I guess that's a good sign.
Come Monday, it'll be all right...

Just a quick update. I've been offered a job and I will be formally accepting it early next week. Whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, must bring my maturity level up to that of a proper university professor, just wouldn't do to walk the halls singing things like "Already Gone," by the Eagles :-)

Don't like it
Animals seem to, lots of pairing up in the bird world, foxes calling through the might, more baby fish, lots of ladybirds appearing out of the front wall.

Hello! It's been a long time (er, again). Just sitting here listening to Nevermind.
I got a job, so I'm hoping to get my own apartment by the end of the year. Just depends on if I can get more hours. How is everyone?
Congrats!

And good luck getting your own apartment. That's a big step. I remember when I moved out of the university owned apartment building I was living in with three roommates and in to an apartment by myself. I loved it.

I still live with my parents, so it will definitely be a relief! I really want to get my own place, but I think I might have to share. If I rent a 2 bedroom apartment in the right location, I could pay around $400/month.
