I've been quite busy, it's the last week of classes for the semester, final exams are next week. Also, I put in my official resignation last Friday. My dean was so shocked he was momentarily speechless, first time I've ever seen that happen to him. Now I must concentrate on finishing up the semester, packing up my office, and eventually my house. Also need to find a new place to live in my new town! Lots to do in a short period of time but it will all get done.

Have just booked to see the musical Spamalot next week in Bromley, more expensive than Croydon, where I normally go to the theatre but it on here not there!

It combines Monty Python & the Holy Grain, with bits of Life of Brian (that rather well known song ) and general Monty Python, including MY all time favorite sketch (Fish Slapping), and references to lumberjack attire!

Off to a concert on Sunday, Morten Harket (ex-a-ha), my first concert for ages   Have dug out my ear filters, make listening so much clearer and safer.

Since we switched from analogue to digital TV (last month) for some reason the main TV/digi-box won't allow subtitles on BBC TV channels   meaning that the TV is blaring out as dan't can't hear, and Mum's hearing doesn't seem as good as it was, but hell breaks forth if you say anything about it. Subtitles should be available (no good for Mum with her poor eyesight) as my little freebie box and TV upstairs get them fine, and that's using an  indoor aerial.   Costing me a small fortune though having access, in my room, to the craft channels now

Off to the O2 on Sunday, the Morten Harket concert. Seems to have come round very quickly, booked the ticket back in October 2011.

Just been checking for the routes there and back, and looks like I should make it back to Hayes in time to catch the last bus home   otherwise it'll the night bus and a walk!

Though last time I used the route planner service they didn't take into consideration the long term roadworks taking place and the resultant bus detours, ended up miles off course

Had a brilliant time at the concert, on Sunday night. Brilliant concert, lovely venue and good journeys to and from the venue.

Nice mix of tracks, some from the new solo album, some from his first solo album, and some classic a-ha tracks.

Felt better then I have for ages, that was until I got home

Plunged back down again when I got home, Dad had gone to feed the fish, shortly before I got home and found the heater had gone haywire and over heated the water, killing all the fish.

My five beloved catfish and all the others. Dad though he was helping by disposing of the bodies down the toilet, but he knew that the catfish were always buried! By the time I'd got home Tolf, MiniMot, Al-Cee and Al-Dee had all been flushed, but some how he'd missed Bubble, by far the biggest fish in the tank, so I could at least bury him on Monday.

Don't think we'll be replacing the fish, suppose we'll put an ad somewhere to sell the tank(s) and units. We have a spare tank to use when the main one is cleared out.

Would have been so much better if the concert had been on the Monday night rather then the Sunday, as the high from it was wiped out by the fish tragedy.
