There exists an older thread with the same name (http://www.murmurs.c...f-recent-shows/) but unfortunately it's closed and I cannot respond to it, which is why I decided to create this new thread.

Young Fresh Fellows, Robyn Hitchcock, will be busy touring the Spanish peninsula this month of June. The purpose of the thread is to post links to news items appearing in the Spanish press.

The first item I'm submitting here is from mondosonoro.com, it's a small article titled "Young Fresh Fellows in Asturias and Cantabria", the dates of the tour are as follows:

* June 11: VALENCIA (Sala Wah Wah)
* June 12: MADRID (Sala El Sol)
* June 13: SANTANDER (Escenario Santander)
* June 14: AVILÉS (Centro Niemeyer)
* June 15: VITORIA (Sala Helldorado)

"(The Young Fresh Fellows) after the break-up of R.E.M. seem to be in stronger form than ever", says the article. "We'll see it in the Spanish tour". (Source: http://www.mondosono...ria/223297.aspx).

According to what McCaughey said in the radio interview, the Young Fresh Fellows these days only play regularly in Seattle and Spain - gives an idea of how important the peninsula is to them.
