Hi there all, I've been a REM for longer than I can remember and I have been lurking in the shadows.  I have decided to put an end to mu lurking by registering and becoming a member.  From what I have seen, this is one amazing place to be a member of.  I am looking forward to connecting with other fans, so don't be shy, step up and say hello!

I became a fan back in the 80's, what about you?

Yeah about 87 when I heard Lifes Rich Pageant. I had a penpal in New Britain CT who was into em and she taped me the albums

Have you seen them live?  I did once, and I am so sorry that I didn't take the opportunity when I could have seen them but was busy with something else!

I've been thinking that I'd like to extend an open invitation to all thoase members who have lost their way to come back to Murmurs and celebrate the music that is REM!

Ginger, too bad we don't get to see them again.  If you only saw them once, I suggest some of their official video releases of concerts, or some of the bootleg items out there.  some of the murmurs members do trades still too.  I have not looked into boots in about two years unfortunately, but they are still out there.

at least we have the baseball project, and I think they will be touring the NE this year...
