The Mercury Cinema in Adelaide, South Australia, is screening the work of cinematographer Vincent Moon. The artist is to participate in a Q&A session at the theater, while earlier today he had a conversation with Martin Goodman of Radio Adelaide.

"But now you're here and it's different, how the light shines in your eyes, and every second a century, it's then that I realized, the world as we know it, a high speed train, we'll pick it up and start again"

It would have been good to go to that, but I didn't read this thread in time, drats. I'm actually on the email list for that cinema and [rather annoyingly] they didn't mention anything about it - I hope he got a decent crowd. There is an experimental art space in that complex with the cinema too, and although I'm on the mailing list for that too, they never, EVER send me details about exhibitions - just new books they are selling and some info about a new director - I mean really, you'd think they actual events would be the more important content //whinge.
One of the themes of the last Adelaide Film Festival was music films and I checked the program at the time to see if Vincent Moon had anything screening, but nope. I really liked the Takeaway shows he did with REM.
