using only the songs from the last two records and the tour would be awesome.

No other band with more than 10 years could do that. If they do, the fans would be unhappy because the songs of their last two records could not support a decent show.

just saying.

just dreaming:

1 - Discoverer
2 - All the best
3 - Mr. Richards
4 - Mine smell like honey
5 - Man sized wreath
6 - Supernatural superserious
7 - Oh my heart
8 - Until the day is done
9 - It happened today
10 - accelerate
11 - hollow man
12 - AAAA
13- gona dJ
14 -houston
15 - horse to water
16 -  me marlon brando
17 - every day is yours
18 - walk it back

chorus

living well is the best revenge
that someone is you
sing for the submarine
blue

* hallejulah
* we all go back
* a month of saturday

I can think of several bands that could tour just on the strength of their two most recent records, three of whom would be Drive-By Truckers, Nada Surf and Megafaun. I'm sure I could think of some more but that's just three right off the top of my head.
"We were listening to the UNC radio (station) there and they were playing an R.E.M. song. I like R.E.M. fine, but at the end of it, the DJ says, 'Ya that was R.E.M., the sound of the new South'. I looked at my roommate and we said, Gawd, if that's the sound of the new South, I preferred it when it was on the skids. That's how we got the name."

Good point, this tour would be awesome.

There wasn't anything mentioned in your criteria about whether all of the members of the band were still alive or not.

I´ve never seen a dead person playing a musical instrument, that would be kind of cool. The happy songs would be also interesting to see.

Word has it he remained in that exact same position until Mick was able to procure some WD-40.
