I thought that it was sweet and wonderful, especially his little dance with Patti.

I don't understand why some people are criticizing Michael's voice here. I think he sounds better than I've heard him in a long time, and his delivery was heartfelt. It was touching to see the obvious affection that he and Patti have for each other.

I agree. He sounds too good to be retired or whatever the guys are calling it.

Jesus , I wasn't criticising , just saying he sounded a little rusty and looked nervous and reluctant. Technically he's a little flat and misses the high notes thats all , no big deal , I doubt he had much warming up time. He even acknowledges the fact with his reactions and winces to some parts of the song. Its still a heartfelt and moving performance .

Michael always had problems hitting certain notes.
His voice sounds just fine to me.

Thank you for posting
I thought his voice sounded really good. He looked really shy and embarrassed and a bit like he had never done anything like it in his life! Maybe he's lost confidence in himself and maybe Patti asking him to do this was her way of helping him regain confidence in himself. If that is true, I hope it works!

I thought exactly the same! But how can that be? I don't think "he's lost confidence in himself". Why should he? So, what' sgoing on with him? (Maybe a "menopause"-kind of thing - how's that called for men? ;-) So, there's hope he'll get over it....!!! :-D )
