I got the package today. Yesterday I decided to not wait for it anymore... and here it is! :-)
It was a lovely surprise at the end of a pretty weird year. And I really don't care if I'll like the calendar (I still haven't looked at it ;-) ). I had my shiny, happy moment today, when I saw the envelope from Athens. Thank you R.E.M. :-)
Christmas package arriving?

You must have chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star.

Got home on Monday, and the package was waiting for me. Was so excited to open it!
And count me in as one who loves it. The colours and the design are wonderful. Certainly a lot of thought and time had gone into it, and I appreciate R.E.M. and the people at the Fan Club for the great work. And, again, as per request they went out of their way to send mine by Registered mail, as every year.
Sure, it would have been nice to have something additional that suggest/acknowledge that its the final package. But, hey, as one poster said before, this is a gift, and this is what they wanted to send us.
Joy!

At least you guys were in the fan club at all. I had filled out the form to join but they disbanded before I could send it in.
