Hola,

Long time no post, yadda yadda.

Anyways, a long time ago now I posted a few poems here but I cannot find them now. Have they been deleted or? I have other copies somewhere, its just that they're difficult to access now as I live in a different country to my parents.

Any help gratefully received.

"A Pain Through the End" still exists here (somewhere) so I imagine yours are here too. Good luck finding them since the latest reconfiguration of Murmurs though.
"We were listening to the UNC radio (station) there and they were playing an R.E.M. song. I like R.E.M. fine, but at the end of it, the DJ says, 'Ya that was R.E.M., the sound of the new South'. I looked at my roommate and we said, Gawd, if that's the sound of the new South, I preferred it when it was on the skids. That's how we got the name."

I had a very thorough look through the 'Lifestyle' forum and found threads from what I reckon to be the same time. No luck finding them, though.

Perhaps they were deleted, as I think they were in the 'creative' sub-forum so perhaps were deemed unworthy of murmurs 12.95.

Going to be very annoyed if the archive of my thousands of posts has been deleted.
WHERE IS THE LINK?

Not sure if you're being serious, Mr Andrews!

What link?

I've gotten search results for previous posts here but when I clicked on the link it gave me I was taken back to the home page. I believe I've read where others have said they've found old posts by using Google. In other words, I think all of the old posts are still here, they just may be archived. Since the streamlining of Murmurs, even if they show up on search results, you're not going to be directed to them since the forums have been reconfigured. I'm sure EThan can elaborate.

Yeah, I've had more luck with Google, but it helps if you can remember keywords from the thread title or the post themselves.  Try typing your user name + murmurs + any keyword you can remember from your original posts in a Google search.  Good luck.

Cheers - I've found one, but can't think of any keywords for the other.

I was wondering about you, Waggy, when I logged on earlier. Hope Oz is treating ya well.

ETA: Found the other one too, now. I remembered who commented in the thread so did a search with my username and theirs.

Glad you found your posts.  Anything before 9/2006 is in Archives.  I think everything else should be somewhere, although it's been shuffled a bit.

What is "Archives"? Seems unnecessary.

I see a link to "Robertandrews' Content" (http://www.murmurs.c...ctivity&mid=130) - but it only contains about 100 of the most recent posts. Where are the 2,600 others I've posted on here since 1996? Frankly, it's a fucking travesty if they are gone. And, if I can't effectively locate my own posts all in one page, then they've gone.

?

It's a section of the board where all past topics are locked and are "read only".

Does someone yet know if there is a way to restore the view which will show me all of the 2,600-odd posts I've ever made here?
