The lyrics for Penny Lane as misprinted on the compilation album The Beatles: 1967–1970 (aka "The Blue Album"). They read "Full of fish and finger pies" which are incorrect. In the remastered version, the lyrics read as "For a fish and finger pies," which also remains incorrect. I wonder whether this is deliberate because the actual lyrics, A four of fish and finger pie, are smutty.

Some of the 9/11 hijackers didn't shave all their body hair off leading to speculation that they didn't know it was going to be a suicide mission and were duped into taking part.

Yesterday but it's too good not to post. River Phoneix real name was River Jude Bottom and his brother was born Joaquín Rafael Bottom so it's no wonder he's such an arsey twat. They also had a younger sister called, quite amazingly, Summer Joy Bottom. River said once his parents were 'hippisih'. Just a bit, eh?

That my mum has been to social service to put 'that bastard' (my landlord) out of buisness. She didn't give them the adress of the house but she did tell them the rd. so if they come and investigate if this place is unfit for human habitation I'll have to go and find somwhere else to live...a hassle I just don't want to deal with right now. I convinced her to not take it any further. First my dad kicks me out of his home then my mum tries to have me thrown out of my own home!!!

It's the octopus that crawled back to the sea.

That the country Brazil is named after the nut, not the other way around. Well, technically, Brazil is named after the plentiful Brazil Palm tree, of which the nut is the fruit/seed, but it sounds much better if you try and say it is the nut!

That maidenhair ferns are very delicate plants and don't like warm breezes. I bought one last week for a hanging pot in a spot under the veranda and it's shrivelled up badly.

While looking through 'view new content' on murmurs, I ran the cursor over the page and found if I clicked on a small arrow in a black circle, I could view the first and last post in a thread. Very nifty!
