Hi
I'm a new member so pardon if this has been asked before:
Does anyone know who the girl was in the video for "The One I Love"? I believe she may have also been one of the girls in the "Pop Song '89" video, as well.
Thanks,
D

Caroline indeed, also the subject of the stories often prefacing Auctioneer when played live.

Even though your question has already been answered, I think you'll find this site to be very valuable. Especially considering this seems to be one of the most asked questions relating to R.E.M., particularly lately.
"We were listening to the UNC radio (station) there and they were playing an R.E.M. song. I like R.E.M. fine, but at the end of it, the DJ says, 'Ya that was R.E.M., the sound of the new South'. I looked at my roommate and we said, Gawd, if that's the sound of the new South, I preferred it when it was on the skids. That's how we got the name."
