As per a recent announcement and subsequent NY Times article, the US Postal Service is accepting recommendations for living persons to be on a US Stamp, and I believe R.E.M. is quite deserving. So, why not R.E.M.?  I formed a FB page about it and you can either request it yourself on the USPS Facebook page and/or "like" my post that is already on its recommendation section on the right, send a written request to the USPS by mail, or join my FB group concerning it.  I will be sending an official correspondence.
