A few people I know have met Jeff Tweedy, and he was said to be very guarded and offstandish. He is a guy that I would not go out of my to meet after a show. I met Peter Buck. I attempted to meet Stipe once, but he was whisked away quickly and we did not have a shot. If I saw JT I would just say hi, and keep walking. He has too many personal demons, and hard to tell how he would react.

No tickling the lead singer when he is reaching for a note that he can no longer hit, OK?" JMS, post-audience visit during The One I Love in Bergen, 2008

One day, if I'm old or dead
One day, can't get out of bed
I hope and pray the night before, we were out of our heads
Cause I never want to lose the Days of Wine and Booze
We all go back to where we belong: A month of saturdays, Hallelujah!
