A good result on Saturday, 1-1 at home to Blackpool. Last season we'd have crumbled after going a goal down, but Dougie's got them playing as a team and for the full game, and added on time!

Started a bit iffy, as if they'd never met each other before but soon gelled. Glenn Murray looked really impressive when he came on in the second half, could have scored a hat-trick. Zaha (hope we don't lose him in the next couple of days) was lively as ever and caused their defence all sorts of problems. Paddy McCarthy could have scored a couple, as could Dean Moxey, back after his suspension.

Now it's a week of for internationals.

McGivern returned to Man City then straight off to Bristol City (loan)
Ramage loan extended until January.
Ibra Sk******  loaned to Kettering for a month.
Alessandre N'Diyae   released by mutual consent.

So we managed to keep young Wilfried :)

Well football starts up again after the international break.

Palace are away to Leeds on Saturday. According to the paper they (Leeds) have signed Forsell who was a free agent, in time for the game.

The international clearance for Antonio Pedroza has come through, we signed him pre-deadline on a three year deal, a 20-year-old Mexican with an English mother.

Good win on Tuesday night, against Wigan, papers made a big thing about all the changes in the Wigan side, but no comment on all the changes in the Palace side

Home to 'Boro on Saturday, then home to 'Boro on Tuesday night in the Carling Cup 3rd round

YEP! :D

We've a good home record in this competition, only losing 2 of the last 27 home ties :D

Saw the goals on TV last night, good goal from Zaha, and Andrew was lucky his hit the defender!

Away to Doncaster on Saturday, then it is The Big Away Game, on Tuesday night, such was the demand for tickets, it's being screened on the big screen at Selhurst Park as well.

A team with a new manager is always a problem, and when they have an ex playing for them, so I suppose we were always down for a loss

The BIG away game tomorrow night!

Excellent result on Tuesday night :D

Listened to the whole game on BBC London. Our second away win of the season, double last seasons total :D

Any win is great but a win against our biggest (or do I mean littlest ;) ) rivals is extra special :D

Again we left it late, leaving them no chance of a comeback, 80th (Zaha), 89th (Ambrose) and 90th+1 (Murray) :D

Result moved us back up to 9th, and stopped them from topping the table.

West Ham at Selhurst on Saturday.

Good result on Saturday, another away win, that's three now and it's only October. Saw goals on TV, great strikes, both of them, Zaha & Easter.

Home to Bristol City tomorrow night.

Another three points, with a 1-0 win over Bristol City last night. Pleased with that, because we always seem to struggle against teams in the lower reaches of the division. Points take us up to 5th in the table.

Away to Ipswich on Saturday.

Up to 3rd in the table following Saturday's win away at Ipswich, 0-1 goal scored by Paddy McCarthy.

Though we went down to 4th after West Ham beat Brighton on Monday night, so not all bad then :P .

Well we're into the last 8 in the Carling Cup after Tuesday night's 2-0 win (Ambrose & Easter (pen)) over Southampton at Selhurst Park.

At home to Reading on Saturday.

Well we kept another clean sheet, and stay in 4th position!

Carling Cup 1/4 final draw sees us away to Manchester United - no pressure then ;)  Revenge for Wembley would be nice :D
