Cool! Hopefully more to come...
They mentioned previously that Peter was gonna be back for these dates, right? Anyone knows what he's up to now? Recording with someone, hair transplant, buddhist retreat?

Café Trianon in Nijmegen, NL on 5 AUG is the first gig in Europe now, it seems.

Not sure I can make it, and no idea what to do with the Lokerse Feesten tickets... ... ...

I urge everyone who can possibly attend to get your buns to one of the shows!  Baseball Project concerts are soooo fun.

No Peter at these shows apparently,(at least not in Croatia) according to their Facebook feed... No Mike either.

What's going on? I would actually have been a bit disappointed I had chosen to fly down to Belgium for the show there, as it was announced previously that Peter would do these.

btw the show in belgium has been canceled
and yes, peter had to back out of this tour for good reason
but i still maintain this band doesn't really stand or fall with peter, the two main key elements are steve and scott, so i am happy they decide to do this tour without peter.
will see them in holland and croatia

I would agree.   Scott and Steve (Linda too) have so much fun with this material that they are just fun to watch.  Peter is pretty low key and doesn't try to be the star at all.

I meant the Nijmegen show actually, since that was supposed to be a full show. Who can tell Flemish and Dutch cities apart anyway...  :P

Any additional information on the good reason? Nothing serious, I hope.

And indeed it it is a great band to see anyway. The US shows I've seen have been great, but for obvious reasons Peter is still a major part of it for me.

Baseball Project in Europe without Peter...
He injured his back...
The original article from bresciaoggi.it:

and those who came saw that it rocked. such a great show, a bit heavy on Steve Wynn songs, but no problem with that.
Dave did such wonderful job replacing pete so last minute. they did some great covers, Neil young's revolution blues, smile away by Paul McCarty and the ballad of john and Yoko.
Scott also dedicate 500 girl mornings to Peter, saying this is the first show he missed in over 30 years, cause peter normally doesn't miss any shows. and then he went in to the song, being one that he never played before, nor could remember what it sounded like :D.

turn out was pretty nice for such a last minute gig. they sold quite a bunch of merch as well. so i would say they kicked off the tour on a high note.
