I will be with my wife in LA (hotel in Hollywood) from April 20 to April 24, the visit is merely vacational and cultural/entertainmet. I have already purchaste tickets for Universal Studios, booked tickets with WB Studio and made reservation for Paramount Studios (very near to our hotel). One day we want to go shopping (perhaps camarillo premium outlets and get to know Malibu while we drive there).

What I need is recomendations and suggestions for the nightlife. Can anyone tell me wich bars are great to listening great music (perhaps live jazz or rock) near the Hollywood / sunset strip area?.

Also, I want to know if going one night to the Comedy Store worths it.
