"Comb your hair and off to work" probably the most banal of R.E.M. lyrics?
(Electron Blue aside ("I'm just a guy, I've got a story like everyone")
Favourite lyric from collapse into now

"I'm in a part of your dreams, that you don't even understand"
"I don't have much, but what I have is gold"
"The winner's write the rule books..." (Me, Marlon Brando.. is amongst my favorite songs on the album. It gives me chills each time I listen to it. Michael's voice is fantastic on this song).

"Yes, I will rhyme that after all I've done...": of Parable and terrible.
And, as has already been mentioned, the Scarface Al Pacino, verse of "That Someone is You."
The lyrics from "All the Best" are just embarrassing. Worst REM song ever.
