So the boys aren't touring behind CIN, but that hasn't stopped me from thinking about how the new songs would fit into a show. I'm bored at work today, so why not create a setlist?

1  Discoverer
2  These Days
3  Kenneth
4  Man-Sized Wreath
5  All the Best

("let's slow things down a bit")

6  Drive -->
7  Uberlin
8  She Just Wants to Be
9  I've Been High

("we are R.E.M. and this is what we do)

10 Mine Smell Like Honey (with a "Me in Honey" reprise)
11 Supernatural Superserious
12 Seven Chinese Brothers
13 Living Well's the Best Revenge
14 Alligator_Aviator...
15 Gardening at Night
16 New Test Leper
17 Houston -->
18 Oh My Heart
19 Walk Unafraid
20 The One I Love

ENCORE:
21 Me, Marlon Brando..
22 Wolves, Lower
23 Losing My Religion
24 Man on the Moon
25 Orange Crush

then, about an hour later as the crew packs up, they come back for the remaining diehards to play an acoustic set:

26 Santa Baby
27 Shiny Happy People
28 New Orleans Instrumental No. 1

This is a fun idea! I'll have to give it some thought, but Blue -> Country Feedback or vice versa is bound to feature at some point in the setlist right?!

I would like to see Patti Smith come out and do E Bow and then break into Blue.

Are you sure playing those two songs back to back is a good idea??

i have to admit, my original set flow really well. i'm going to save it as a playlist for a flight later this week -- that just so happens to be about 2.5 hours (or the length of a show).

as much as i love the new CIN songs -- it's all i've listened to for most of the last two weeks -- i'm started to get a bit bored. it's time to hear them in context of the rest of the catalogue

Since I am a set list freak, I'll play (I was going to start a thread like this anyway).  I will be as realistic as possible based on the current album (they'd probably play 7-8 songs) and the songs they might otherwise play.  Nomrally an 18 song main set and five song encore.

1.  Discoverer
2.  WTFK
3.  Fall on Me
4.  Walk it back (or Drive)
5.  All the Best
6.  Ignorland
7.  Bad Day
8.  Uberlin
9.  The One I Love
10. Every Day is Yours to Win
11. Mine Smell Like Honey
12. Life and How to Live it
13. Let Me In (Campfire version)
14. Losing My Religion
15. Orange Crush
16. Daysleeper
17, Walk Unafraid (pentultimate song of main set often)
18. Living Well

19. How the West Was Won and Where it Got Us (total wildcard)
20.  That someone is you
21.  Rockville
22.  Blue
23.  Man on the Moon

Can't go wrong with this show.  Tried to represent as many albms as possible, but also being realistic.
