I received my vinyl LP today (in Germany), and aside from "Oh My Heart", "Blue" was co-written by Patti Smith.

He sure does. Because the guys realized that hope sounded very similar in melody to one of his songs.
MS to Me: Where else could antelopes jump off tall buildings and submarines be fueled by melody?
