I had a long chat with Julia's husband Tim the other night and they are both very, very grateful for all the messages of support they've recieved from folk here. Thank you all very much, it means a huge amount to them to know that people care and sympathise with their horrible situation.
Julia is coping, she has bad days. Tim too. They're a close couple and are not used to being apart. Julia is very much a homebird who is missing her family and many pets so much. It's so sad, and just crazy that this is happening to such a lovely woman. However, the appeal will go ahead, but not for another month at least. Tim and Tabitha were on TV on Friday, I think it was on Meridian news, Tim thought they'd come across quite well.
Julia doesn't have internet access so I've printed out all the threads so far and i'll post them off to her. I haven't actually written myself yet, been too busy sending out addresses!
Thank you all again. It's good to know that Murmurs still has so many caring people around!

Thank YOU for being such a supportive friend to Julia. It's great news that the appeal will go ahead, and possibly fairly soon (though I'm sure a month seems forever to Julia and Tim!).

Thanks for the update Sheila and I agree with the above post. You have been a true friend to Julia and Tim which I know will comfort them in their ordeal. I hope the appeal goes well and that the whole family can stay strong

I'm sorry that I forgot to say last night that Julia's MP is fighting her case. Well done Mr E!! The link to the interview Tim mentioned is here, unfortunately not a video-

Anny, I'm glad to say that the family seems to be still very strong. Their support and love for each has shone through in circumstances that could so easily split relationships apart. I have a good feeling that this is going to work itself out well and that they will all be able to rebuild their lives.

As mentioned elsewhere, I've seen the case mentioned on BBC CEEFAX, and in the Daily Mail, over the past few days.

Happy to hear that they are still strong and that the word is getting out about this. Hopefully this will all be brought to a swift conclusion. Love to them all xx

All the best to Julia and Tim and I hope their appeal will be successful. It's great that their MP is supporting them as well.

Hi
I visited my mum (Julia) the other day. She was keen for me to come on her and thank you all on her behalf. She's finding it hard but says that she is counting down the days till her release. She says thank you especially to the people who have been writing to her, the post is the only thing she looks forward to apart from her weekly visit. If anyone needs any information about how to contact her or anything let me know.

I'm glad things are moving forward for the family, and hopefully Julia will be home much sooner than expected.

I received a card from Julia a few days ago, in reply to the short letter I had sent her. Oh, I do hope this nightmare will end soon and she can return to her family with her name cleared.

If you think your mum would like to hear from a concerned fellow murmursian, please email me an address where I can contact her.
