"Conventional wisdom would dictate that when the singer is trying to hit the high note and not quite getting there, the last thing you should do is tickle him! No tickling the lead singer when he is reaching for a note that he can no longer hit, OK?" JMS, post-audience visit during The One I Love in Bergen, 2008

Eventually you guys will go through the same revolution we've been through since two years now. It will change a lot for you. A LOT.
I remember when you first mentioned it. Just looked at the spotify site, and can't believe that it's in so few countries - everybody who uses it loves it. I guess it's all to do with record companies, though I don't really know!
ho hum!

I hardly ever listen to my CDs or mp3s anymore, or the radio for that matter. I basically get all my music now from Spotify. It's such an immense treasure box you really can't believe before you have access to it.

I still play CD's in the car and once in a while at home, but I'm certainly an exception amongst my friends in that regard. iTunes? Hehe, why buy virtual stuff when I can just listen to anything I want, whenever I want, in the same type of interface like iTunes or any other media player for about 15 bucks a month. Why use the iPod functionality on my iPhone with a limited amount of music when I can use Spotify on the iPhone and have 8 million tracks available? I don't know when I was a party the last time and there was music coming from any other source than Spotity (itunes, media player, CD's, radio). It was alooong time ago.
You're in a for a revolution, US people. Just like with many other technical revolutions (mobile phones, 3G networks) it comes later to you guys...but we've done a good job as guinea pigs for you!
/D
