Also, Ethan wasn't lying when he said that he loves to see people's faces when they listen to this.
Everyday Is Yours To Win is a song I want to play in full like right now.

They all sound so good, I just want to hear more of each now. Loving the effect (if I am right in saying it is an effect) on Michael's voice in, 'Everyday is yours to win'.

"Alligator Aviator Autopilot Antimatter" is fucking brilliant! Love the clip.

I'm feeling optimistic.
At this point, I don't really want to hear much more before it's released. But there's no way I'll be able to resist if more becomes available.

Sounds amazing!
I think Everyday is yours to win could be one of my favourite R.E.M. songs EVER!

I'm loving that so far there hasn't been a barrage of criticism of Jacknife Lee's production on this album, by main gripe with Accelerate. This can only point towards a fantastic record in my books!
There are no B-sides anymore, its all mp3's!

Could someone remind me of the allegorical import of the alligator in Michael's world?

Mine Smells Like Honey got the longest segment in the trailer (25 seconds). Prehaps it's the song they're most proud of and prehaps indicates it'll be the choice for the single?
I say fantastic! It'll be the most ballsy (in a good way!) single choice since eBow.

The short Snippet of AAAA reminds me of Animal. I could't contain my emotions when viewing this footage. So exciting!
That someone just pulled me up and out of cartoon quicksand.

mine smells like honey, brando and discoverer were my faves also. great to hear that its all more wide sonic-wise than accelerate, these clips show that the songs have more different colours than the short rockers on last album.
so, although we havent still heard much of the songs, there seems to be a lot of diversity and lets add totally unheard stuff and sepculate about it:
blue (w patti smith)
überlin (will probably be a strange song featuring all these bleeps and bloops from the mustic electronic device)
oh my heart (will feature horns and new orleans funeral march, beirut-like vibe)
walk it back (fucked-up mid tempo late night piano song)
and
that someone is you
if i am counting right.
excuse me for not remembering the names of the songs where lenny kaye, peaches and gibb were featured. but lets add these 5 songs that seem sonically varied and the not-yet heard or mentioned guests to the 7 songs we know and id say that it should be a pretty good thing!
what i`d still say about the production: i guess that these takes in the video were live-in studio (seems to be the hansa studios in berlin) which actually might sound a bit less clinical and livelier or better than the record. im still a bit sceptical about mr Lee, but thats my right.
