Problem with posting pics...

When I try to post pictures I first attached in the Uploads Forum like a good gril, I get that the board doesn't recognise the file extension (which is the same one all Murmurs uploads have always had), and apparently I'm not the only person this is happening to. Anyone?

There's another thread here about this, but I don't think it's been resolved. I haven't been able to include pics into posts or sigs since the new software came online.

I think the best thing to do (and what works) is to upload the pics directly into the post you want to put them in. Pics uploaded into there first lose their.jpg on the end of the url.

Yes, I have the same problem with pics uploaded here. As far as I know, the problem wasn't resolved. Like Leilani said, it seems the problem is due to the fact the uploaded pics lose their JPG extention in the URL here.

What I did was just upload the pics to a site that keeps the ".jpg" at the end of the URL, and then the picture is shown here with no problem, if you use the usual [ img ] URL [ /img ] method (see my sig for example).
