Murmurs.com is now 14 years old, and every so often I need to upgrade things to keep pace with the times. Now is that time. In fact, the time was back in April, but life got in the way.

Murmurs has moved to new software, from VBulletin to Invision. We had been on VBulletin since 2001, so in the change some stuff might have been lost or made buggy. Please note any bugs you find here. I've tried to port over everything from the former forum, but the old forum still exists just in case.

As we gear up for a new R.E.M. record, look out for more content and things for this board. Thanks to Leigh (Sibko) for the logo!

Also, if you are an iPad or iPhone user, download the Invision app to use this app from your phone or tablet. Also be sure to connect your account to Facebook in your Profile Page and Twitter

To celebrate the new look I have designed a couple of wallpaper packs in two flavors blue or white. Each pack is an archive weighing in around 3meg and includes 17 formats covering -

However, I must be really dense as it took me about 10 minutes to figure out where to login.....and there doesn't seem to be a "new posts" button? Is the "view new content" link the replacement for that?

I couldn't figure out where to log in either!
I think it is view new content for new posts.

I'll work on the login link and some other issues later today. It took about two and a half days to just convert nine years of stuff over

invision?!? i remembered it didn't have as many features as vBulletin.
i wished the quick reply didn't bring these richtext buttons i hardly use.

Vbulletin was purchased by a Russian company and quality went down hill. Invision is much more robust and scalable and modern now.

Anyone tested the images and gallery? Can you see my gallery? Can you add images to the "Us with Bandmembers" or "REM Live" ones?
