Was just watching that after seeing it pop on FB Walkmen updates. Not bad, a bit shambolic but that's the appeal of the Walkmen.

That didn't appeal to me at all. It kept creeping into my head that the singer sounded too much like a flat Tom Petty.

Am I the only one who thinks it sounds pretty bad? The guitar and drums were good, but the vocals were butchered IMO. Could have done without the synth too.

He's way flat all the time, but their arrangemant was pretty nice. And in any case it shows what a brilliant melody this song has.
