I would love to go, but I don't see myself in NY at that time. I am fully expecting a Seattle show eventually.

And yet again I shall be lobbying for an ATH/ATL show...

I might go. Haven't been able to travel anywhere since the last time in New York for the R.E.M. tribute show last year.
MS to Me: Where else could antelopes jump off tall buildings and submarines be fueled by melody?

OK, here's the plan. They play NYC, then head down to Athens, then over to Austin where they replace the damn Eagles at ACL, then out to Seattle.

I bought tix yesterday. Should be an interesting show. Never been to Gramercy Theater before. :)
Now I'm hoping to get an imported copy of the album since it doesn't come out until September.

Here's the route I'd suggest:
NYC
Philly (co-headline with Baseball Project)
Washington DC
Richmond
Lexington
Knoxville
Raleigh
Chapel Hill
Greenville
Athens
Atlanta
Birmingham
Jackson
New Orleans
Houston
Austin
Then they hop onto a plane and play Seattle and Portland, making everyone pretty happy. Except for the midwest and northern parts. They always seem to get passed over on tours anyway. :p

So we want the BB Project for all the shows, right? I'd love another BB Project/Minus 5/Steve Wynn IV show at the Continental in Austin before ACL.

Oh yeah. The more recent Minus 5 stuff would fit it better sound wise but basically all you have to do is get Scott and Pete in the same room and you have at least half of three dozen bands there. :D

OR.... Bring back Golden Palominos. When they hit Athens, pair 'em with Gift Horse, Quiet Hooves, and the Sleepy Horses.

or they won't.
show has now been "upgraded" to a larger room.
Following the huge demand for tickets for Tired Pony's debut US show in New York on October 1st, we have not only decided to move the show to a larger venue, but also add a second date in LA for the band's west coast fans.
The second show will take place on October 4th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, with tickets going on sale on Saturday 10am (PDT) via ticketmaster.com.
However as a Tired Pony mailing list member, you will be able to access an exclusive pre- sale from 10am (PDT) on Friday. We will email you the password along with a link early on Friday morning; so make sure you keep an eye on your inbox.
The New York show has also been upgraded from the Gramercy Theatre to the Irving Plaza, all tickets are still valid for the show, with an additional set of tickets becoming available on Friday at 10pm EST via livenation.com.

But it's not closer to Houston dammit. My suggestion is to add them to the Saturday ACL lineup right after Monsters of Folk. M Ward anyone?
