Just been watching Stop Making Sense Talking Heads Live DVD, and Once in a lifetime, makes me shudder, partly because it's so amazing and a small part of me sees Stipe impersonating david byrne as an artist/frontman/performer. Maybe, I don't know, I am confused. I never would have gatecrashed the BBC reception to meet david byrne, UP premier in UK. (I stood in there screaming like a teenage girl to meet Stipe, Natalie merchant wasn't enough), but there is a performance moment watching him that made me think of micheal stipe. I expect massive flames now. Sorry I am wasted, I hope someone can make sense of my post. There is no smilie for blushing, :o so embarrassment will have to do.
