I didn't have anything up until recently, I recently put something on the wall that's a work in progress, it's a display of the band's albums.
I moved (separation from wife) into a small apartment. For a few years I wanted to try and put together a comprehensive display, a wall of sound of the band of vinyl covers. I don't have everything per se, but it's a start. And for things that were not issued on Vinyl either in the US, as a promo or abroad, cardstock for promo ads are going to suffice. Kind of a chronological listing similar to the REMHQ album list. It looks cool!
Who still has R.E.M. posters up?

"It is supposed to overwhelm just as it would if you stood in the room with them." - Jackife Lee, interview in Flagpole, in response to the loudness question.

I never realized there was an age limit to displaying music related posters in our homes or that to do so is considered by some to be in poor taste.
Me neither , I still have signed print proofs of the Monster LP artwork that I got at the release party at the 40 watt , and they're not even hidden away, they're in the living room

Some people say hanging up posters is a teen thing. Whatever they say.
I have a lot of R.E.M. posters around the house. I painted my bedroom last year so I had to take everything down. I put 4 back up so far. I have a bunch of pictures framed too. A few concert pictures we took, A couple from magazines and favorite pictures online. I cleaned out my closet on Sunday and didn't realize my roommate and I have a couple really nice older posters that we only had hanging up a short time in the old apartment. At the part lies listening party the In Time box set I bid on and won came with a newspaper of The Morning Team and a long rectangular tour poster from 2003. I have it in a frame. The frame is a bit too long for the poster so I just need to pick out a couple concert pictures I have from that year and include them in the frame then I will hang it up in my room. Downstairs we have to large framed posters and pictures of us meeting the guys framed.
My Mother says it is an R.E.M. shrine.

Nate,
Maybe that's why you're still single.

"We were listening to the UNC radio (station) there and they were playing an R.E.M. song. I like R.E.M. fine, but at the end of it, the DJ says, 'Ya that was R.E.M., the sound of the new South'. I looked at my roommate and we said, Gawd, if that's the sound of the new South, I preferred it when it was on the skids. That's how we got the name."
