Is the shitty week for JMS a reference to Vic Chesnutt's suicide?
Just checking.
Nuci's Space is a worthwhile charity. I've seen bands there when I've gone over for Athfest.
Thanks for getting something organized, Ethan. People can contribute or not as they wish. As usual there are killjoys ready to find fault with everything.

I have split the thread, if anyone wants to continue to discuss the motives of the gifting to Nuci's space, you can find it here:

Any further posts regarding this will be moved to the GLR. Seriously. Enough.

from the front of Nucis Space...I like this pic:

I also wanted to mention to give a bit more context for folks that might not know - Nuci's Space is right next door to the steeple.....where REM first played as the Twisted Kites.
I'm sure someone else on here will have a better pic than the one I got - maybe Sweden, who was in town later in the 2009? but anyway - that's the one I took:

IF memory serves, REM also donated some signed stuff to be auctioned off for Nuci's right before the Truckers shows.
Judge not lest ye be judged, what a beautiful refrain.

Must say that mine from September look pretty much the same, even though we seem to have had better weather. Only other difference is that mine have me playing Gardening @ Night in front of the steeple... :D
